Turning heel side
Turning comes quite naturally when you wakeboard. Just remember to keep your arms straight making the boat pull you forwards and in the direction you want to go.
Look where you want to go and it will become easier to go in the direction, if you look down you will probably turn very slowly or fall.
To turn Heel side which is the easiest side to turn when learning. When learning to do this turn, just start to slowly lean backwards, this will bring your toes out of the water and your board will start moving in the direction of your back (different for what foot you decide to have forward).
also you start turning your body in the direction which is heel side (towards your back).
This brings the front of your board to point in the direction you want to go this is to turn faster and sharper. The further you decide to bend your body and the more you point your boards front away from the board. the more you will have to bend your knees to be able to soak up impact when riding because the more you do lean back and turn the faster you go so you will need to bend your knees more.
turning toe side
This is going to be shorter then the Heel side guide because this is a copy of heel side turning except for that you will turning the other way. Bringing your heels out of the water and turning the direction of your chest.
This turning is needed to get to the side where you will get ready for jumping. In the jumping section I will explain how to "cut" into a wave to get the most speed to get the most air time out of a wake.
